Prior to this, I was an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in Computer Science and Engg. at the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus. I was a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Vision lab, at the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India during 2018-2021. I completed my Ph.D.("CumLaude" Distinction and Honour) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from the Computer and Robot Vision Laboratory (Vislab), Institute for Systems and Robotics, Instituto Superior Tecnico,Univ. of Lisbon, Portugal in 2017.
My research interests are in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Biometrics, Pattern Recognition, Image processing, Vision for Surveillance, Security, etc.
